Part I: Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

The Tab & Task Supabase Sync Extension is a productivity tool designed to help you organize browser tabs and manage tasks. It features local storage and cloud synchronization through Supabase integration, allowing for cross-device access and collaboration.

2. Permissions

This Extension requires the following permissions to function:

  • Storage: To save your preferences, settings, and local tab/task data on your device.
  • Tabs: To list, organize, and manage your open browser tabs.
  • Host Permissions (https://*.supabase.co/*): To connect securely with Supabase for data synchronization.

We only use these permissions for their intended purposes and never access or distribute your private browsing data.

3. User Responsibilities

By using this Extension, you agree to:

  • Use the Extension in compliance with all applicable laws.
  • Not use the Extension for illegal, harmful, or malicious purposes.
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer or interfere with the Extension's functionality.
  • Be responsible for the content you save or share within the Extension.
4. Collaboration and Shared Folders

The Extension allows you to share folders with other users. Please be aware of the following roles:

  • Owners: Can create, read, update, and delete all content in a shared folder, including managing members.
  • Editors: Can add, modify, or delete tabs and tasks within shared folders. Actions taken by editors are visible to the owner and other collaborators.
  • Viewers: Have read-only access to the shared folders.
5. Public Access

Users have the option to make specific folders "Public."

  • Public folders are accessible to anyone who has the unique public link.
  • No authentication is required to view the content of a public folder.
  • Ensure that you do not include sensitive information in folders you choose to make public.
6. Intellectual Property

The Extension, its code, graphics, and documentation are the intellectual property of UXCamp Vietnam. You may not reproduce or redistribute the Extension without prior written permission. Supabase integration is provided by Supabase, Inc., and is subject to their own terms.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Extension is provided "as is" without any warranties. UXCamp Vietnam shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages, including loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the tool.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Extension after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Vietnam.

Part II: Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We take a privacy-first approach:

  • No PII: We do not collect personally identifiable information such as your name, phone number, or browsing history.
  • No Tracking: We do not use third-party analytics, tracking cookies, or advertising services.
  • Local Data: By default, your data is stored locally on your device.
2. Data You Choose to Share (Cloud Sync)

If you enable Supabase synchronization:

  • Your tabs and tasks are stored on Supabase’s secure servers to enable sync across devices.
  • We do not have access to view or modify your data stored on Supabase.
  • You have full control to delete your cloud data at any time via the Extension interface.
3. Data Security and Third Parties
  • Supabase Integration: We use Supabase, Inc. for data storage. Supabase implements industry-standard security, including encryption at rest and in transit.
  • Third-Party Links: The Extension may contain links to external sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.
4. Your Rights
  • Access and Portability: You can view and export your data at any time through the Extension.
  • Deletion: You can permanently delete all local data by removing the Extension, or delete cloud data through the internal settings.
  • GDPR/CCPA: As we do not collect or process personal data on our own servers, the Extension is designed to respect the principles of data minimization and user control.
5. Children's Privacy

This Extension is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
